I don’t personally know but try this:
1. Go to and see what they say
2. Go to and see if anyone has a GPS route mapped.

Lastly – if I really need information about an area where I haven’t ridden before – I go to Yahoo – and do a search like this: “Chicago area Cycling clubs” Then I find someone’s email information and ask them the question. They are ALWAYS helpful. Frequently you will find maps of routes on the club’s site that will also answer your question.
